The Humanities Department on the Long Island Campus of New York Institute of Technology (New York Tech) is seeking applicants for an open rank, tenure-track position in Bioethics to start in Fall 2025. The successful candidate will work with pre-health students, conduct innovative research, and contribute to program building, particularly regarding AI and Bioethics, and potentially medical humanities and related subjects. The position is a 3/3 load, with possible release time for scholarship and administrative roles. This scholar may also have the opportunity to pursue leadership positions developing interdisciplinary initiatives in the humanities and sciences and collaborating with the New York Tech College of Osteopathic Medicine and the Biomedical Engineering program in the College of Engineering and Computer Sciences.
