New York Tech is seeking an Enrollment Systems Analyst in the Office of Enrollment Management. The position, reporting to the Director of Systems Integration for Enrollment Services, is a key member of the enrollment operations, systems, and data team. They work closely with the enrollment operations and admissions teams to provide training and assist with query building and analytics.

 

This is a hybrid position that offers a flexible schedule of remote and on-campus work.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design, test and maintain reports, queries, and dashboards within the customer relationship management (CRM) and student information system (SIS) to deliver and deploy timely and actionable business intelligence to support end users and divisional offices.
  • Assist in the operational maintenance and data integrity of the Enrollment Services systems and databases. Develop standardized practices for importing, cleaning, transforming, and validating data to ensure reliable, appropriate and timely use of enrollment information.
  • Perform routine and ad hoc analyses of enrollment services and external data to support division of enrollment management at New York Tech.
  • Compile and disseminate information from both internal and external data sources to determine the factors affecting college enrollment.
  • Manage data exchanges with vendors, including adjustments to meet provided specifications.
  • Participate in the design, analysis, and development of predictive modeling and forecasting processes used in enrollment planning.
  • Use data and system analysis to identify opportunities in existing business practices to improve business processes.
  • Work collaboratively across college areas to support enrollment initiatives.
  • Collaborate with business units and IT to resolve systems and/or data issues.
  • Participate in project planning, oversight, and completion.
  • Take part in enrollment services events as needed.
  • Occasional nights/weekends required.

 

Qualifications

 

  • A Bachelor's degree is required. A Master's degree and/or multiple years of work experience preferred.
  • Experience working with large data sources including extracting and manipulating data.
  • The ideal candidate will have a technical knowledge of systems as well as operational knowledge of enrollment systems and processes including institutional data sources and definitions.
  • Demonstrated experience with working in a CRM (Slate preferred) and an SIS (PeopleSoft preferred but not required) system and knowledge of the backend configuration.
  • Strong technical skills including Microsoft Excel and understanding and writing SQL.
  • Demonstrated success in critical thinking by applying problem solving practices, acquiring relevant information, evaluating alternatives, and making appropriate recommendations.
  • Excellent analytical skills, including the ability to understand systems and software as they relate to processes and data. Ability to analyze project dependencies to prioritize competing demands.
  • Demonstrated interest in learning new skills as new challenges arise.
  • A collaborative attitude with excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of constituents, including internal staff and senior management.
  • Proven attention to detail and able to work independently.
  • Must be adaptable and flexible, and able to prioritize and respond effectively to multiple demands.

New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer.

 

Minimum Salary

USD $70,000.00/Yr.

Maximum Salary

USD $80,000.00/Yr.
