The College of Engineering and Computing Sciences at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) seeks a Visiting Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology (ECET), with expertise in Circuit analysis, Electronics, Web Design, Digital logic and VHDL programming, Control systems and MATLAB programming, Embedded systems, Microcontrollers, and IOT applications. (full-time, non-tenure-track; New York City campus).

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Responsibilities beyond teaching include outcomes assessment, curriculum design, and development. 
  • An ability to develop and teach courses in several areas of study is required. 
  • Share our vision to grow the College of Engineering and Computing Sciences into a premier source of student talent in the New York Metropolitan Area.

Qualifications

 

  • A Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering/Technology, Computer Engineering/Technology, or a closely related field from a regionally accredited US university is required.
  • Candidates with a Master’s degree and 5+ years of experience in the industry will be considered.
  • Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be willing to engage with institutional student success initiatives, have a commitment to engaging with best-practice initiatives in instruction and pedagogy.
