NY Tech seeks a Senior Specialist for Clinical Education for the College of Osteopathic Medicine located at the Long Island (Old Westbury) campus. 

 

Responsibilities

Assists with providing oversight of 3rd and 4th year scheduling.

 

Develops, maintains and updates the Fourth Year Databases.

 

Addresses scheduling inquiries, issues and concerns for 3rd and 4th year students.

 

Updates and tracks 4th year schedules.

 

Liaison- with affiliated sites to schedule fourth year students.

 

Facilitates the scheduling of non-affiliated site rotations.

 

Assists in the verification of graduation requirements.

 

Composes, edits and posts documents to Canvas.

 

Coordinates and participates in the scheduling of "assigned/lottery" rotations for both 3rd and 4th year students.

 

Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

 

A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.

 

Must have excellent computer skills and knowledge of MS Windows applications

 (Word, Excel and Outlook).

 

Must be energetic, ability to handle multiple tasks and able to adapt to rapid changes in a fast pace environment.

 

Must be able to work collaboratively and independently.
