New York Tech's Long Island campus seeks an Assistant Director of Undergraduate Admission. The Assistant Director will be responsible for meeting enrollment goals in his/her designated territory.
Cultivate relationships with prospective students, their families and guidance/college counselors.
Represent NYIT at high school visits, local and national college fairs and other recruitment events.
Provide feedback and recommendations regarding designated territory.
Conduct on-campus information sessions and participate in such on-campus events including but not limited to Open House, Preview Day and Information Sessions throughout the year.
Evaluate applications for Admissions.
Act as liaison to designated departments or special programs and provide support when needed.
Collaborate with members of the admissions team and other academic departments.
Provide exceptional customer service to all constituents and perform other duties as assigned by the Associate Director and Director of Admissions.
Bachelor’s degree and a valid driver’s license is required along with excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills.
Previous admissions experience is preferred.
Ideal candidate should have an understanding of the higher education landscape.
Must be available to travel extensively and work nights and weekends.
