    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement (travel representing NYITCOM) a comprehensive national/southern recruitment and marketing plan with the purpose of promoting visibility especially of the Arkansas location and to generate an annually increasing pool of qualified and diverse applicants for both campuses.
    • Extensive travel is expected to be about 50% of the time.
    • Represent NYITCOM at regional and national conferences and serve as NYITCOM representative at recruitment events at these conferences.
    • Establish and maintain partnerships and collaborations with key outside constituents that greatly improve the school's visibility (Pre-Professional Health Advisors, American Association of Colleges of Osteopathic Medicine).
    • Develop and implement a recruitment plan for the Baptist track and any other partnership programs that may be developed including marketing materials, open house programs
    • Plan and implement student recruitment events including Open Houses, Information Days, and campus tours; prepare progress reports on all recruitment activities. Regular reports to be presented to Director of Admissions and Assistant Dean of Student Administration as requested.
    • Review applications for the medical school at the Arkansas campus; select applicants for interview.
    • Create recruitment programs, which specifically target these populations and developed admissions processes as needed.
    • Develop and manage the Admissions Department budget for the Arkansas campus.
    • Assist Director in the creation and update of admissions marketing materials, publications, recruitment materials and promotional items
    • Serve on the medical school central admissions committee, and central student admissions leadership Participate in planning of student events at the Arkansas campus (Orientation, Hooding, White Coat Ceremony, and others).
    • Counsel candidates for admission on application requirements and competitiveness for admission.
    • Other duties as required.

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelors Degree required
    • Masters Degree preferred
    • Admissions, 5-8 years experience in College Admissions Office
    • Recruitment -5-8 years of admissions recruitment experience.
    • Knowledge and experience with professional school admissions. Knowledge of admissions recruitment planning. Knowledge of admissions process, educational systems, and requirements for internationally trained students.
    • Effectively manage staff and high volume process ar a multi campus college. Work collaboratively with administrators, faculty, alumni, and outside constituents. Work independently, effectively, and accurately. Strong decision-making and problem solving skills.
    • Experience representing a college or university at recruitment events including private visits, recruitment fairs, conferences etc.
    • Able to communicate effectively and professionally to all size audiences.
