    • Develop and create digital and academic content for NYITCOM's Academic Moodle Site, Kaltura Educational video streaming site and COM Digital Signage. Work with faculty to standardize classroom presentations and creative visually appealing PowerPoints along with research posters to help better engage students and the research / osteopathic medicine community. Create user guides and instructional materials for students, staff & faculty to promote standardized workflows and teaching materials.  Primary visual content creator for the College of Osteopathic Medicine. 
    • Implement and develop a comprehensive social media strategy to increase COM web and social media traffic along with brand awareness. Manage, create and publish original, high quality content.  Administer all COM social media accounts an ensuring up-to-date content. Stay up to date with new digital technologies and social media best practices. 
    • Providing technical support for Academic and Media Technologies. Attend conferences to help enhance the medical school’s role in technology and content creation.


    Bachelor’s Degree required
    Graphic Design and Content Development experience required
    A top-notch communicator, with excellent writing, editing, and oral communication skills
    Flexible and highly organized with great attention to detail
    Knowledgeable of best practices for designing effective, engaging, and persuasive content for social media
    Experienced with creation and production (including filming and editing) of digital media products including video and audio (podcasting)
    Experienced with publishing content on the web, including expertise with: Adobe Creative Suite (including InDesign), advanced video shooting and photography skills and HTML
    Search Engine Optimization, and knowledgeable of web analytics software (Google Analytics)
    Able to work independently and efficiently on concurrent projects
    A team player able to develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues
