    NYIT Office of Enrollment Management seeks an Admissions Operations Manager located at the Long Island (Old Westbury, NY) campus.

    Responsibilities

     

    • Oversee the daily operations of the operations department for both undergraduate and graduate admissions ensuring timely handling of all incoming, mail, email, calls and walk-ins along with exceptional customer services.
    • Implement best practices for the handling and processing of all undergraduate and graduate inquiries, applications, and supporting documents within the Institution’s student information system, content management system, and CRM as well as various centralized application systems.
    • Training, goal setting, and daily management of support staff, including student workers and temporary employees; conduct analysis of application cycle and workflow volume to anticipate and plan department’s tasks and goals.
    • Work collaboratively with the Directors of undergraduate, graduate, global, and international admissions as well as across college areas to support enrollment initiatives.
    • Assist with quality control reporting and data integrity.
    • Assist with enrollment systems updates, maintenance, and testing.
    • Assist with the creation and delivery of end user documentation and training.
    • Responsible for training admissions department, faculty admissions reviewers and other campus departments who create student records.
    • Works with and support other departments on campus to ensure that their applicant related data needs are met.
    • Take part in enrollment services events as needed. Occasional night/weekend work required.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelors' degree required. At least 3 years of progressively responsible administrative experience in higher education are preferred.
    • Experience working in enrollment systems. Preference is given to candidates who have experience working with a CRM (TargetX/ Salesforce preferred) and an SIS system (PeopleSoft preferred but not required).
    • Strong commitment to teamwork and student-centered customer service.
    • Demonstrated interest in learning new skills as new challenges arise.
    • Excellent organization and prioritization, project management, customer service, oral/written communication, interpersonal and public relations skills.
    • Ability to interact with diverse individuals and groups at all organizational levels, both inside and outside of the university.
    • Must be adaptable and flexible, and able to prioritize and respond effectively to multiple demands.
    • Must be skilled in problem solving, analytical, and creative thinking.
