    The Department of Behavioral Sciences at New York Institute of Technology is inviting applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor (Old Westbury) faculty position beginning fall 2019. 


    The position will include teaching Introduction to Psychology, Statistics, Research Methods, Measurement Concepts, as well as courses in the candidate’s area of specialty.  Also, the candidate will be required to be involved with student advisement, Behavioral Science club advisement, school committee work, research and overall program development. 




    Candidates for the Behavioral Sciences Assistant Professor of Psychology position must hold a PhD degree in Psychology (Cognitive, Experimental, or Physiological Psychology is preferred).  In addition, a record of scholarly activities, ability to work with a culturally diverse population, and ability to engage undergraduate students in research is required.
