    NYIT’s School of Engineering and Computing Sciences seeks a Postdoctoral Researcher located at the Long Island (Old Westbury) campus.  

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct research in the areas of radar signal processing, wireless communications, joint radar and communications, and publish papers in peer reviewed journals and conferences.
    • Prepare monthly project reports as well as project final report.
    • Assist Principal Investigator in submitting grant proposals based on the results of this funded project.

     

    Qualifications

     

    • PhD in Electrical Engineering or related areas (e.g., computer engineering, applied mathematics) is required. 
    • Experience in Signal Processing, Wireless Communications and Statistical Signal Processing is preferred. 
    • Radar Signal Processing, Optimization, Machine Learning is preferred. 
    • Analytical and problem solving skills in signal processing, in particular, signal processing for radar and communications is required. 
    • Programming knowledge in Matlab and C or C++ and good communication skills is required.
