    Responsibilities

    • Plan and implement the grant-funded Delta Care-a-van mobile health vehicle program.
    • Work with targeted communities to gather input, establish operation locations, and schedule activities.
    • Assist in the development and distribution of program promotional materials.
    • Facilitate the development of policies and procedures for operations.
    • Ensure that the vehicle is properly equipped for services.
    • Develop metrics to measure project success.
    • Ensure that project goals and timeline are fulfilled.
    • Maintain accurate records of data collection, safeguarding the confidentiality of subjects, as necessary.
    • Provide ready access to all data for the faculty researchers and/or supervisors.
    • Travel to designated community sites to organize schedules and assist with collection of data.
    • Provide nursing services to patients at community sites serviced by the Delta Care-a-van.
    • Supervise staff in support of the Delta Care-a-van.

    Qualifications

    • Registered Nurse (RN) required
    • Minimum of 3-5 years project management experience
    • Experience working with rural and underserved populations preferred.
    • Knowledgeable about public health-related data collection and research protocols.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft computer applications including Word Excel, Outlook and Access
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
    • Excellent customer service and human relations skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment, as well as part of a team.
