The Occupational Therapy Department at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) is seeking adjunct professors to teach a number of courses in the Fall 2018 semester and Spring 2019. Courses include topics of Motor Learning, clinical and professional topics in occupational therapy, Interventions in Physical Conditions in Adults, and OT Interventions for Psychosocial Disorders and Group Process. Applicants can apply for any or all eligible courses. The department will work with the adjunct in providing the course syllabus and material.
The applicants have to be a certified and licensed occupational therapist in NY with clinical experience in the course area and have to have at least a MS degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution. Academic teaching experience is preferred. Applicants have to be available to teach on the scheduled courses times in both semesters.
