    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with the Director of Alumni Relations to develop and implement a strategic plan for increased alumni involvement through in person networking events, online communication and social media
    • Plan and manage large alumni events around the country including sourcing venues, managing budgets and staffing. Travel to some of these events is expected.
    • Develop and maintain an alumni network database and extract information from the database for reporting and strategic planning purposes.
    • Familiarity with Raiser's Edge; and Microsoft Office suite
    • Sourcing and developing content for alumni newsletters. Writing and editing content as needed.
    • Coordinate with various departments within NYITCOM to promote the presence and services of alumni relations at student events
    • Other tasks as assigned

    Qualifications

     

    • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
    • Experience in database development or communications, development, alumni relations and event planning.
