    Responsibilities

    New York Institute of Technology-College of Osteopathic Medicine (NYITCOM) is currently seeking qualified candidates for the Academic Enrichment Specialist.  The responsibilities of this position will include but are not limited to:

     

    Responsibilities

    • Provide academic support and educational counseling to students who are accelerated program participants and track their academic progress; work with relevant others in the recruitment process for these students
    • Provide individual educational counseling to students addressing areas such as test-taking strategies, time-management, reading comprehension strategies, note-taking techniques, and study skills
    • Provide workshops for students addressing topic areas such as test-taking strategies, time-management, reading comprehension strategies, note-taking techniques, and study skills
    • Additional duties, as assigned

    Qualifications

     

     

    Qualifications

    Master's Degree in Education or a related discipline required.  Prior experience in Education or a related field.  Knowledge in learning concepts, educational theory, and psycho-educational assessments.  Strong interpersonal, administrative/organizational, and computer skills. Aptitude for educational technology
