    Responsibilities

    New York Institute of Technology seeks a part-time Library Assistant for the NYIT Manhattan Campus Library. This is a part time position and will work Friday 5pm-10pm, Saturdays 1pm-7pm and Sundays 11am-8pm.

     

     

    Responsibilities Include:

    • Circulation/loan library assistant
    • Data entry in SIRSI work flows
    • Trouble shooting of copy machines/printers, computers, scanners etc.
    • Book shelving, making photocopies, collecting fines as needed
    • Assist at the innovation labs
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

     

     

    • Bachelor Degree preferred.
    • Excellent customer service and computer skills
    • 1-2 year’s experience in a college library
    • Must be a team player and detail oriented.
