Coordinate the development of Year 2 Course/Seminar schedules, as well as remediation schedules; Pro-actively develop contingency plans for extenuating circumstances that may affect established schedule; Coordinate and follow-up with schedule changes. Maintain database tracking schedule/content changes to Year 2 courses from year to year in collaboration with Year 1 Curriculum Coordinator.
Develop and maintain Year 2 electronic course calendar (inclusive of room assignments); Reserve rooms to accommodate students for curricular schedule in coordination with Year 1 Curriculum Coordinator.
Develop and maintain Year 2 electronic course pages for each course, as well as for a General Information page; post curricular material on electronic academic site (in pdf and GoodReader formats, as applicable); provide relevant individuals with access; Coordinate with technology staff to address issues with Year 2 video stream postings on academic site; Request PowerPoints and related Year 2 course materials from faculty, track submissions (timeliness) and follow-up.
Develop/Maintain Year 2 Course Student Lab Group Assignments; Monitor requests for lab group switches in relation to requests.
Assist in development of Year 2 course syllabi.
Track and maintain electronic database of student attendance and conduct follow-up activities at required Year 2 learning activities.
Address inquiries related to Year 2 course schedule and posting of related materials.
Track/collate Year 2 faculty participation in lectures/labs; Maintain database/process paperwork for Year 2 guest lecturer payments in coordination with Year 1 Curriculum Coordinator.
Maintain updated list of Year 2 faculty teaching in course, their teaching schedule, contact and related information.
Serve as back-up for Year 1 Curriculum Coordinator
Perform additional responsibilities, as assigned.
A Bachelor’s Degree is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
Strong computer skills are required.
Knowledge of academic schedule development/maintenance.
Excellent verbal, written, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
