    Responsibilities

    The selected candidate will teach the introduction of fundamentals of critical thinking both in the university and in daily life. Topics include an overview of the research methods in academic disciplines, such as philosophy, sociology, psychology and economics. This course lays the groundwork for critical thinking skills in other core classes and major program coursework. Interactive classrooms projects, experiential learning and relevance are priorities in this course.

    Qualifications

    Candidates must possess a Master's degree or Ph.D. degree in relevant discipline and teaching experience in an academic setting required. Technology integration experience is strongly recommended. Familiarity with Zoom, Blackboard, VoiceThread, and Google Applications is a plus. Candidates with expertise in service-learning and developing community partnerships are also encouraged to apply.
