    NYIT’s College of Osteopathic Medicine seeks an Administrative Specialist for the Office of Clinical Education.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Use online resources, some internal and some third-party external, to track multiple academic requirements for third and fourth year medical students.
    • Communicate with students weekly regarding the completion of their academic requirements.
    • Maintain and update Clinical Education Shared Drive and other operational databases.  
    • Serve as a back-up for the operation of VSAS and Technology-Mediated Online Curriculum Resources.
    • Interact with medical students and Affiliated and Non-Affiliated sites to facilitate the scheduling of third and fourth year rotations.
    • Process, file and upload documents to Learning Management Systems.
    • Assist in the development and large scale updates of the data entry systems/databases.
    • Perform additional duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

     

    • A bachelor’s degree is required as well as advanced Excel and Access skills.  
    • Must be comfortable navigating various learning management systems. 
    • Strong computer, organizational and interpersonal skills are required.
