    Responsibilities

    • Provide administrative assistance for the Director of Compliance and a graduate assistant.
    • Support includes calendar scheduling, internal and external communications, data entry, filing, copying, note-taking, mailings, event and program coordination, creation of reports and correspondence and overall office support.
    • Serve as a primary point of contact for the Compliance and Title IX Office and provide excellent customer service to students, staff, faculty and other constituents with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
    • Assist in the administration of various online training programs and the institution’s web-based compliance hotline.
    • Assist with creating department forms and templates.
    • Responsible for monthly institutional compliance calendar administration.
    • Review and edit presentations and documents.
    • Transcribe notes from meetings and interviews.
    • Monitor and reconcile department operating accounts and budgets.
    • Perform special projects and assignments as requested.

    Qualifications

     

    • High school diploma and three to five years of relevant experience or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
    • Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
    • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
    • Excellent written and oral communications skills with all levels of the institution.
    • Demonstrated ability to organize and prioritize work, take initiative, resolve problems, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Ability to handle confidential information and correspondence.
    • Experience completing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines.
    • Ability to self-direct work responsibly in absence of supervisor.
    • Demonstrated technical proficiency within a variety of systems/platforms including database and financial management systems.
