NYIT’s College of Osteopathic Medicine, seeks a Front End LMS Developer located the Old Westbury campus.



Developing applications, sites, mobile apps for academic purposes.


Collaborating with different departments to help improve current systems.


Troubleshooting and assisting with academic technologies.




A Bachelor's  degree  and experience with Web and Applications Development is required; a Master's degree is preferred..


Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3, and PHP and proficiency in understanding of client-side scripting and Javscript framework, including Jquery.


Knowledge of multimedia design and editing, including Camtasia and Captivate.


Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT. Familiarity with the use of Bootsrap, WordPress, API's and other web / app development tools. Knowledge of SQL, OLAP, or other query or data mining tools is preferred.

Strong understanding of Moodle and Moodle Integrations. Experience with systems and IT operations.

Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.   Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment. Ability to work independently and in a collaborative environment.
