    Responsibilities

    The School of Engineering and Computing Sciences​ (SoECS) at New York Institute of Technology (NYIT) seeks an Associate Dean at the rank of Associate/Full Professor  in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Full-time, tenure track; Old Westbury campus) with research expertise in Biomedical Engineering (bio-manufacturing, nano-biotechnology, micro/nano wearable and implementable devices for biomedical applications). 

    Qualifications

    This is a senior-level faculty position  reporting directly to the Dean and assisting the Dean in identifying opportunities and leading innovative strategic initiatives critical to the success of the SoECS at NYIT. This energetic individual will share  our vision to grow the SoECS into a leader in applied research and premier source of student and faculty talent in the New York metropolitan area and globally.   Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Biomedical Engineering or related area, excellent communication skills, a solid publication and external funding record, and administrative experience (i.e. as department chair).  Send CV, references, and research/teaching/vision statement.
