  • Developing web applications / sites / mobile apps for Academic purposes
  • Working with researchers to help build new systems for research and analysis
  • Collaborating with different departments to help improve current systems.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrate the ability to communicate at all levels
  • Ability to be a self-starter and be capable of working independently


  • Bachelor’s Degree required; Master’s Degree preferred, or equivalent degree and experience
  • 1-3 years’ directly applicable experience and/or 3-5 years’ related experience
  • Web and Applications Development
  • Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML5, CSS3
  • Proficient understand of client-side scripting and Javscipt framework, including Jquery
  • Knowledge of multimedia design and editing, including Camtasia and Captivate
  • Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as GIT
  • Familiarity with the use of Bootsrap, WordPress, API's and other web / app development tools
  • Ability to use a wide variety of open source technologies and tools
  • Knowledge of SQL, OLAP, or other query or data mining tools preferred
  • Ability to code and script
  • IOS Development
  • Experience with systems and IT operations
  • Working knowledge of online learning systems helpful
  • Comfort with frequent, incremental code testing and deployment
  • Strong grasp of automation tools
  • Comfort with collaboration, open communication
