    • Obtain list of rooms to be cleaned through Banquet Event Orders and Manager of Housekeeping
    • Clean rooms according to standard operating procedure and the prescribed standards of cleanliness
    • Launder linens and staff uniforms from Dining Services and Campus Dining
    • Ensure adequate supplies by inventorying stock
    • Make recommendations to improve service and ensure more efficient operation
    • Ensure that the outside grounds around the building after events are clear of stemware, china and trash including emptying of trash receptacles
    • Examine building to determine need for repairs or replacement of furniture or equipment, and make recommendations to management
    • Attend staff meetings to discuss company policies and patrons' complaints
    • Other duties assigned


    • Educational Requirements (High School or Equivalent), plus one to two years’ experience as a housekeeper in a catering facility, or a combination of education and experience from which comparable knowledge and skills are acquired
    • Work a flexible schedule with hours that coincide with scheduled events, including holidays, weekends, and evenings
    • Excellent communication skills


    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand for extended periods of time. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 40 pounds.
